In 2017, devotee of all things business and technology, particularly Virtual and Augmented Reality Marketing, Saqif decided to bring together all the exciting trends, products, and current reviews under one roof with the creation of TrendBT.
A Wilfrid Laurier University graduate, Saqif majored in Science and Business at WLU in Waterloo, Canada, and received a post-graduate certification in Marketing from Conestoga College. He is a social media marketing and communication professional with experience in the nonprofit arena, skilled public speaker, and currently pursuing an entrepreneurial career in digital marketing and investing. It’s Saqif’s desire to not only share his passion and expertise for technology with the world, but also make it a better place by raising awareness around current climate issues. In his spare time, he enjoys watching DC Comics movies, listening to music, and keeping up with the latest technology, VR and AR marketing.
Scott Douglas Jacobsen is the Founder of In-Sight: Independent Interview-Based Journal and In-Sight Publishing. Jacobsen works for science and human rights, especially women’s rights, Indigenous rights, labour rights, and children’s rights. He considers the modern scientific and technological world the foundation for the provision of the basics of human life throughout the world and the advancement of human rights as the universal movement among peoples everywhere. Lesa M. Robison, Ph.D.
ALIGN Nonprofit Consulting
After a COVID layoff from a successful 26-year career at the American Cancer Society, Lesa decided to take her experience to the streets and start the nonprofit consulting business, ALIGN. Services she offers include development of strategic fundraising plans to boost income; data segmenting and process recommendations; creative design and branding review of websites; and marketing collateral development. Lesa holds a Ph.D. in Comparative Religion/Divinity, and in 2020, worked jointly on the self-help book, “God Wants You to Know” with transformational UN speaker, Lilian Njoki. Lesa enjoys traveling, learning about other cultures, and advocating for refugee and environmental causes. She currently lives in the Dallas-Fort Worth, TX area with three feisty felines, Maizee, Max and Pi.
